SPECIAL MEETING MAY 7, 2008
TOWN OFFICE BUILDING 10:00 A.M.
First Selectman Eldredge called the meeting to order at 10:02 A.M. with the following in attendance: Selectmen Palmer & Charette.
SET DATE FOR TOWN MEETING
First Selectman Eldredge read the call of the Town Meeting:
The electors of the Town of Willington and all persons who are entitled to vote in Town Meeting on the matters mentioned in the following warning are hereby warned and notified to meet in Town Meeting at the TOWN HALL at 11 COMMON ROAD in Willington on May 14, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. for the following purposes:
ITEM I
To see if the townspeople, on the recommendation of the Board of Finance, will authorize the appropriation of $70,019 from the General Fund Balance to the FY 2007-2008 Public Works Budget.

SELECTMAN PALMER MOVED TO HOLD A TOWN MEETING AT THE TOWN HALL ON MAY 14, 2008 AT 7:00 P.M.
Selectman Charette seconded the motion.
VOTE: 3 (ELDREDGE, PALMER & CHARETTE) 0 NO
Discussion on the Public Works budget followed. Selectman Palmer commented the money is needed for spring cleanup.
SELECTMAN PALMER MOVED TO ADJOURN THE MEETING AT 10:08 A.M.
Selectman Charette seconded the motion.
VOTE: 3 YES (ELDREDGE, PALMER & CHARETTE) 0 NO
